The Bata Shoe Museum

The Bata Shoe Museum is a 9,700 square foot  'architectural gem' envisioned by Sonja Bata and designed by renowned Canadian architect Raymond Moriyama. The collection contains over 13,500 items from throughout history, as well as the present, and is the only museum in North America dedicated solely to the history of footwear.

Since the museum’s opening in 1995 we have worked closely with Sonja Bata on extensive marketing and communication programs including building banners, posters, exhibits, books and catalogues.

“Their work has always been innovative, sensitive to the objective and well executed. They are dedicated to achieve design excellence in every detail and it is a pleasure to work with them.” ~ Sonja Bata
